hours (total of 100 hours) of postgraduate infrared imaging classroom
instruction presented by a chiropractic college and pre-approved by the
Board.

completion of an additional 200
(total 250) infrared imaging studies.

personally utilizing imaging in
practice for two years.

submission of five personally
performed infrared imaging studies with written reports

(at least 2 cervical and 2
lumbar).

the Part I and Part II
examinations cannot be completed at the same sitting.

These examinations are offered on
a semi-annual basis.

Successful completion of this two-stage process
results in a "Board Certified” designation.
The correct title is “Certified, American
Chiropractic Board of Infrared Imaging.”
Note that this is a 100-hour certification process;
it is not a Diplomate program.
Not specified in Bylaws, but required by ACA/CDI/ACCII Policy Statement
dated 6-13-91, is the fact that only High Resolution Infrared
Imaging is acceptable.
